Muscat – Civil Aviation Authority has reported temperature of 41°C recorded at the Muscat station during the early hours of Thursday, July 9.

Official forecasts from the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre indicate that coastal areas along the Sea of Oman and various desert regions are expected to experience a notable rise in temperatures over the coming days, specifically through July 11.

Meteorologists have warned that temperatures in these areas may exceed 45°C, advising the public to take necessary precautions. Meanwhile, the southern region continues to experience the seasonal Khareef activity, with the Dhalkut station recording 17 consecutive days of continuous weather activity from June 22 to July 8.
