Salalah – King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain arrived in Salalah on Saturday on a private visit lasting several days.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik led the welcoming party for the king at the private airport in Salalah. Alongside His Majesty the Sultan, King Hamad was received by members of the Royal family, ministers and senior officials.

Later, His Majesty the Sultan and King Hamad held a cordial meeting at Bait al Rabat in Salalah.

At the outset of the meeting, His Majesty renewed his welcome for King Hamad and his accompanying delegation. His Majesty also expressed his delight on this fraternal visit, wishing the king and his accompanying delegation a pleasant stay in Dhofar.

On his turn, King Hamad expressed his gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan for the warm welcome and reception.
