Khasab – The second edition of the Musandam Winter Entertainment Festival began today in the Wilayat of Khasab, Musandam governorate, offering a wide array of activities and entertainment programmes designed for all segments of society. The festival, which runs until December 5, aims to provide a memorable experience for visitors and locals alike.

The opening day featured a lively programme that included international circus acts, magic shows, performances by the Shamiya band, the clown carnival band, and a dynamic show by the Al-Midan band.

His Excellency Sayyid Ibrahim bin Saeed al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam, who sponsored the event, stated that the festival seeks to establish Musandam as a preferred tourist destination for families by diversifying its offerings, enhancing tourism experiences, and creating enjoyable recreational activities. He also noted that the festival is a platform to promote the governorate’s rich culture and traditions.

In addition to entertainment, the event provides opportunities for small business owners, productive families, and craftsmen to display their products, supporting community development and individuals with limited income.

The festival features various attractions, including areas dedicated to small and medium enterprises, the Omani Women’s Association, an international circus, theatre performances, shopping and tasting experiences, children’s activities, and a special section for photography enthusiasts.
