Muscat – Represented by Bausher Wali’s Office, Muscat is hosting Bausher Beach and Marine Sports Festival at Azaiba beach which started on Wednesday.

The five-day festival held under the slogan ‘Love and Belonging to the Homeland’ aligns with the 54th National Day celebrations and showcases a mix of sports and culture.

The festival has a diverse lineup of activities that celebrate Oman’s rich marine heritage, including beach football and volleyball, kayaking, paddle boarding and sailing, providing fun for all age groups and skill levels.

The festival will have live traditional music and dance performances, alongside food stalls serving authentic Omani cuisine and a variety of family-friendly games and activities.

Officials expressed enthusiasm for the festival’s potential to foster community spirit and patriotism, while highlighting its role in promoting active, healthy lifestyles and celebrating national pride. The event is anticipated to attract large crowds, bringing together families and friends in a festive atmosphere that reflects Oman’s unity and achievements.

The festival will culminate in special ceremonies and presentations honouring the nation’s progress and rich cultural legacy as Oman marks its National Day.
