Muscat – The SME Development Fund (INMA) has expanded its services into retail finance with the launch of two new brands: Masaar, offering auto finance, and Mazaya, providing consumer finance. The new services are aimed at salaried individuals in Oman, offering financing for vehicles and a range of personal needs.
The launch was held under the patronage of H E Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, Minister of Finance, at the Tivoli Hotel in Muscat. The event was attended by Haitham al Salmi, chairman of INMA, board members, heads of leading banks in Oman and other dignitaries.
The move extends INMA’s experience in financing Oman’s entrepreneurial and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) ecosystem into the retail finance segment. It also responds to changing customer expectations and growing demand for convenient, simple and fully digital financial services.
Masaar Auto Finance offers financing for new and pre-owned vehicles, while Mazaya Consumer Finance covers a range of personal needs, including electronics, furniture, jewellery, healthcare and travel. The services also include Islamic finance options, giving customers a wider choice of financing solutions.
Sheikh Salah Hilal Al Maawali, Chief Executive Officer of INMA, said the launch marked an important step in the fund’s development and reflected its commitment to meeting Oman’s growing financial needs.
“Our offerings are also aimed at the younger generation who are seeking a more digital environment. Through Masaar and Mazaya, our aim is to create a financing experience that removes unnecessary complexity, gives customers greater choice and uses technology in ways that genuinely make their lives easier,” he said.
INMA is also bringing financing closer to the point of purchase through its network of associate partners. Its collaboration with Digital Mall integrates product discovery and financing, allowing customers to explore cars and consumer products and access financing options through a single digital journey.
As part of the initiative, INMA introduced Digital Mall as a partner supporting its efforts to serve Oman’s SME sector. The platform provides a digital marketplace where customers can explore vehicles and consumer durables from home or any other location.
Ahmed Azri, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Mall, demonstrated the platform, which allows customers to browse new and pre-owned cars, as well as other products, and explore financing options from INMA online.
