Muscat – H E Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, held a telephone conversation with Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, to discuss regional developments.

During the call, H E Sayyid Badr expressed Oman’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed the sultanate’s rejection of attacks on civilian facilities and any actions that threaten the kingdom’s security or the safety of civilians.

The two ministers emphasised the importance of continued coordination and consultation, as well as efforts to contain tensions and promote de-escalation.

They also stressed the need to create conditions conducive to political dialogue and to address all issues and crises through peaceful means, in order to safeguard regional security and stability.
