Kazakhstan – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a formal official welcome ceremony during his state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan on Tuesday.

Upon arrival at Palace of Independence in the capital Astana, His Majesty was greeted by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Following the greeting, both leaders exchanged introductions with senior officials and members of their respective official delegations.

His Majesty and the Kazakhstan President then ascended the honorary platform, where the Omani Royal Anthem and the Kazakh Republican Anthem were played, after which His Majesty inspected the guard of honour. The ceremony concluded with the official taking of commemorative photographs at Palace of Independence to mark the auspicious occasion.
