Muscat – The Research and Innovation Authority has opened applications for Omani researchers and students to participate in the 76th Lindau Nobel Laureates Meeting in Germany, dedicated to physiology and medicine, from June 27 to July 2, 2027.

Three young scientists will be nominated from Oman, subject to evaluation and selection by the event’s organisers.

The meeting will bring together about 40 Nobel laureates and 600 young scientists from more than 80 countries, providing opportunities for scientific exchange and international collaboration.

The programme is open to undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students, as well as postdoctoral researchers in physiology and medicine.

The authority said participation would help strengthen research capabilities and provide young Omani scientists with direct access to leading researchers.

The deadline for applications is October 19.
