Muscat-  Several wilayats across the Sultanate of Oman recorded varying amounts of rainfall between September 11 and 12, according to data released by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources.

Ibri recorded 2mm of rainfall, while the highest amount among the wilayats listed was recorded in Buraimi at 28mm.

Mudhaibi received 19mm, followed by Salalah with 10mm. Rakhyut recorded 1mm during the same period.

The data was published by the ministry on September 13 and reflects rainfall measurements recorded up to 8am.

The rainfall comes as parts of Oman experience varying weather conditions, with precipitation recorded in several governorates.

The ministry continues to monitor rainfall levels and water resources through its network of monitoring stations and publishes data on rainfall received across the Sultanate.

The latest figures highlight the variation in rainfall intensity between different wilayats, with Buraimi recording the highest level among the locations covered by the ministry’s latest update.
