Muscat – Consumer Protection Authority announced a legal judgment between two consumers and two commercial establishments in the Muscat Governorate.
The case arose when the consumers contracted the two businesses to carry out kitchen design and installation works. However, the establishments failed to complete the agreed works within the stipulated timeframes.
Consequently, the court convicted the establishments and their representatives, ordering them to pay a total fine of RO 2,000. Furthermore, the rulings ordered the permanent closure of one of the establishments and required the convicted parties to bear all legal costs.
