Muscat – The fourth round of political consultations between Oman and Sri Lanka was held in Muscat. The Omani delegation was headed by H E Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, while the Sri Lankan delegation was led by Aruni Ranaraja, Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism.

During the session, both sides reviewed bilateral relations and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in economic, investment, tourism, and cultural fields, alongside exchanging views on regional and international issues. The two sides highlighted the importance of continuous consultation to support regional stability and mutual interests.
