Muscat – Eng Ahmed bin Said Al Amri, Chairman of Muscat Municipality, received Bader Wael Bader Al-Ajail Al-Askar, Secretary-General of the Arab Towns Organization, at the municipality’s headquarters.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation and facilitate the exchange of professional expertise and successful Arab urban experiences. The Secretary-General highlighted the organization’s role in promoting sustainable urban development, capacity building, and knowledge sharing among member cities.
For his part, the Chairman of Muscat Municipality underscored the importance of expanding partnerships and adopting best practices to enhance institutional performance and municipal service delivery in Muscat.
The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to ongoing coordination to support sustainable urban development goals and meet the future aspirations of Arab cities.
