Paris, France – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived in the French Republic on Sunday evening on a two-day official visit aimed at further strengthening the longstanding relations and strategic partnership between the Sultanate of Oman and France.

Upon His Majesty’s arrival at Orly International Airport in Paris, His Majesty was received by Roland Lescure, Minister for Economy, Finance and Industrial and Energy Sovereignty; Nabil Hajlaoui, Ambassador of France to Oman; Ahmed bin Mohammed al Araimi, Ambassador of Oman to France; Amna bint Salem Al Balushi, Oman’s Permanent Delegate to Unesco; several senior French military officers; and members of the Omani Embassy in France.

An official reception ceremony in honour of His Majesty’s visit will be held on Monday at the historic Les Invalides in Paris.
