Muscat – According to the latest data provided by the Civil Aviation Authority’s meteorological stations, Oman has experienced a period of significant heat, with peak temperatures reaching 48.3°C in Hamra Al Drooa. This high reading marks the maximum temperature recorded over the past 24 hours.

Other regions across the country also recorded notably high temperatures. As Sunaunah reached 47.7°C, while Al Qabil recorded 47.4°C. Furthermore, Fahud and Ibri documented temperatures of 47.2°C and 47.0°C respectively, with Dima Wattayeen reporting 46.9°C. Coastal and inland areas including Wadi Al Maawil and Rustaq both reached 46.6°C, followed by Khasab at 46.5°C, Al Mudhaibi at 46.4°C, and Buraimi at 46.3°C. These consistent high-temperature readings underscore the intense weather conditions currently being monitored by national authorities.
