Muscat – Department of Blood Bank Services (DBBS) has issued an urgent public appeal for O-negative blood donations following a critical bleeding case that requires immediate medical intervention.

Authorities are currently facing a severe shortage of this rare blood group and are calling upon all eligible donors to assist as soon as possible. Interested individuals are encouraged to visit the Central Blood Bank in Bausher, which operates Saturday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Alternatively, donors may visit the Seeb Blood Donation Centre at Al Araimi Boulevard, which is open Sunday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
