Jalan Bani Bu Ali – South Sharqiyah Governorate celebrated the official opening of the Al Suwaih Park project in the Wilayat of Jalan Bani Bu Ali. Spanning an expansive area of approximately 41,497sq m, the project was completed with an estimated investment of RO479,466. The inauguration ceremony was held under the patronage of Dr Yahya Badr al Ma’awali, Governor of South Sharqiyah, who emphasised that the park serves as a model for directing development investments into high-quality projects that improve resource efficiency and enhance the overall quality of life for residents.

The park features a comprehensive range of facilities designed to cater to various community segments, including families, youth, and visitors. According to Sheikh Saud bin Mohammed Al Hinai, Deputy Wali of Jalan Bani Bu Ali, the site includes seven shades, a restaurant, five commercial shops, and dedicated areas for children’s games and camping. Additionally, the project boasts an event theatre, health tracks, modern lighting systems, and ample parking. This initiative is part of the governorate’s broader strategy to develop recreational facilities and strengthen tourism infrastructure, thereby stimulating economic activity and providing new opportunities for local investors in the commercial and service sectors.
