Dhofar – Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources (MAFWR) has issued a statement regarding information circulating on social media platforms about animal deaths and the performance of veterinary clinics. Ministry has confirmed that it is treating these reports with extreme seriousness and is coordinating closely with the relevant authorities to take all necessary measures.

Despite the reports on social media, official records indicate that no abnormal cases of animal mortality have been registered in any veterinary clinics to date. To ensure a swift and efficient response to any potential issues, the Ministry has urged livestock owners to contact their nearest veterinary clinic immediately if they observe any deaths or have specific concerns. Furthermore, reports can be submitted through the 1112 call centre or the “Tajawab” platform to facilitate professional and timely intervention.
