Muscat – Muscat Municipality has issued an official clarification in response to a video currently circulating on social media platforms concerning the Amerat-Bausher mountain road. The video in question claimed to show a collapse on the road heading from the Wilayat of Amerat toward the Wilayat of Bausher. Following an assessment of the site, the Municipality has confirmed that the road remains entirely safe for public use and that there have been no collapses or structural failures affecting the road’s protection systems.

To provide further transparency and technical detail, the Municipality announced that a representative will participate in a local radio interview. The officials will present a comprehensive review of the technical aspects related to the road’s safety and structural integrity.
