Saham – An endowment building for the Ataa Saham Charitable Team was officially inaugurated in the Wilayat of Saham. The ceremony was conducted under the patronage of H E Dr Laila Ahmed Al Najjar, the Minister of Social Development. This new facility operates under the guidance of the Social Development Committee in Saham and represents a significant step towards achieving long-term financial sustainability for local philanthropic efforts.

The newly constructed three-story complex covers a total area of 3,013sqm and was completed at a total investment of RO 540,191. The architectural design of the building incorporates a ground floor intended for an exhibition area and various commercial shops. The first and second floors are dedicated to residential apartments. This strategic mix of commercial and residential space is expected to generate an annual revenue of RO 42,720, providing a steady stream of income to support the team’s charitable activities.

During the inauguration, Sheikh Dr Sultan Abdullah Al Battashi, the Wali of Saham and Chairman of the Social Development Committee, highlighted the importance of the project. He described the building as a model for sustainable investment and noted that it serves as a permanent endowment to strengthen social solidarity. The event included a visual presentation detailing the 24-month construction process, followed by a formal tour of the facility to inspect its various components and functional areas.
