Muscat – H H Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs received Maxim Ryzhenkov, Foreign Minister of Belarus in Muscat to discuss strengthening economic and investment cooperation between the two nations. The meeting focused on expanding bilateral partnerships and building upon the successful results achieved by the Omani-Belarusian Joint Committee for Cooperation and Investment. Both parties highlighted the importance of creating new opportunities for mutual growth and sustainable economic development.

In a separate session, the H E Sayyid Badr, Foreign Minister met with his Belarusian counterpart to review the long-standing friendship and cooperation between their respective countries. The ministers engaged in detailed discussions regarding the current military developments in the region and their wider implications. They jointly expressed the necessity of immediate de-escalation and the cessation of military hostilities to prevent further instability.
The diplomatic engagements concluded with both nations reaffirming their commitment to the fundamental principles of international law. The officials stressed the vital importance of respecting the sovereignty of all states as a necessary condition for global peace.
