Muscat – To mark Hindi Diwas 2026, the Embassy of India in Muscat, in association with the Hindi Wing, hosted a special event on 14 September 2026. The programme featured a variety of creative competitions—including essay writing, a quiz, humorous poetry, and completing idioms—drawing enthusiastic participation from the community.

Ambassador H.E. Shri Prashant Pise congratulated the participants and emphasized Hindi’s role as a vital link connecting India’s diverse cultural heritage. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in engaging the younger generation. The event concluded with prize and certificate distributions for competition winners, alongside recognition for the judges and organizers. The Embassy remains committed to promoting the Hindi language and strengthening cultural ties between India and Oman.
