Vodafone Oman unveils its biggest ever Khareef Programme with “Dhofar Full of Wonder”

21 Jul 2026 Vodafone Oman unveils “Dhofar Full of Wonder”

Muscat – As thousands of visitors prepare to make their journey to the Sultanate’s southern greens, Vodafone Oman is returning as Main Sponsor of Khareef Dhofar 2026 for the second consecutive year, with its biggest programme yet, “Dhofar, Full of Wonder”. Building on last year’s success, the season-long campaign promises new experiences, enhanced connectivity, entertainment, business initiatives and digital engagement across the governorate.

Running from mid-July until the end of August, the campaign is bringing Vodafone closer to visitors across key Khareef destinations, including Al Gharf, Al Haffa and Ittin, through a lively programme spanning entertainment, culture, food, music and games. Among its highlights is “The Wonderful City”, an original theatrical production that captures the season through storytelling, comedy and family entertainment inspired by the spirit of Dhofar.

Commenting on the campaign, Usama Al Saifi, Head of Brand and Communications at Vodafone Oman, said: “Every Khareef tells a different story. It is a season shaped by the experiences people have, the places they discover, and the moments they share along the way. That idea sits at the heart of ‘Dhofar, Full of Wonder’. Through this year’s campaign, we wanted to celebrate the many ways people experience Khareef while creating new opportunities for visitors, residents, and businesses to be part of the season. Whether someone is visiting Dhofar for the first time or returning for another Khareef, we want Vodafone to be part of the memories they create, from the moment they arrive until the moment they head home.”

The campaign also extends beyond Dhofar through an interactive experience available on the My Vodafone App. Open to Vodafone customers and non-customers across Oman, the game brings the spirit of the campaign into a digital space through entertainment challenges, a live leaderboard and weekly prizes. By opening the experience to everyone, Vodafone is combining its digital-first approach with a more inclusive way for people across the Sultanate to take part in Khareef, wherever they may be.

Khareef also represents one of the busiest commercial periods of the year for local businesses. To support this momentum, Vodafone is working closely with enterprises and SMEs through a range of digital connectivity and business solutions, including BLACK for Business, Makani Business Internet and MaxImpact Messaging, helping organisations stay connected, engage customers and capture seasonal demand. As part of these efforts, Vodafone will also host its Enterprise Business Event, bringing together business leaders and SMEs to explore digital solutions that support growth across Dhofar and beyond.

Behind every experience is Vodafone’s largest Khareef readiness programme to date. Enhanced network monitoring, increased capacity and expanded coverage across high-footfall locations will support residents, visitors, businesses and event organisers throughout the season, ensuring people can navigate, stream, share and stay connected wherever the wonder takes them.
