Salalah – Royal Oman Police (ROP) have successfully dismantled an international cybercrime network operating from the Dhofar Governorate. Following intensive technical and field investigations, authorities identified suspicious activities involving an individual fleeing a residential building at 3 am.

This breakthrough led to the exposure of a sophisticated group of Asian nationality engaged in electronic fraud and financial exploitation. The operation utilised four locations in Dhofar as bases for their illicit activities. ROP, supported by the Salalah Special Tasks Unit, acted decisively to halt the criminal network and apprehend all members involved, reinforcing Oman’s commitment to maintaining regional safety and security.
