Muscat – Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) has issued a formal notice to all individuals and commercial establishments utilising unregistered trademarks. The ministry has urged all relevant parties to visit the ministry or its affiliated directorates to complete the necessary registration procedures in accordance with established regulations.

This initiative is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance the protection of intellectual property rights within the Sultanate. By formalising the use of trademarks, the ministry aims to regulate commercial activities, provide better protection for business identities, and minimize legal conflicts and violations.
