Yemen – Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi group has officially declared a complete ban on all Israeli maritime navigation throughout the Red Sea. According to Al Jazeera, the group stated that any vessels with affiliations to Israel would be treated as military targets once again, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing regional conflict.

In a formal announcement, the movement confirmed that it had carried out recent attacks against Israel and explicitly warned that it would respond to any further escalations with equal force. This move poses renewed risks to maritime security in one of the world’s most critical trade corridors.
