Muscat – H H Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, received in his office at Al Murtafaa Camp General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence and Chief of People’s National Army Staff of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, along with his accompanying delegation, on Monday.  During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations binding Oman and Algeria. They also discussed a number of matters of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, as well as the Ambassador of Algeria to Oman.
