Dakhliyah – Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) have successfully identified and seized a commercial establishment found to be selling expired goods. This enforcement action was conducted as part of a series of intensive inspection campaigns aimed at monitoring commercial outlets across the various wilayats of the governorate.
The coordinated operation resulted in the confiscation of 1,074 expired products that were being displayed for public sale. The presence of these items represents a clear contravention of the Consumer Protection Law and its Executive Regulation, posing a significant risk to public health and safety. All seized items have been removed from circulation, and legal proceedings have been initiated against the establishment to ensure that appropriate penalties are applied.
