Muscat – Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) has issued a formal notice to all service beneficiaries. This directive applies to all parties involved in the transport of goods by truck, including operators of land transport management and guidance applications. Furthermore, the regulation extends to foreign truck operators entering Oman.

All relevant parties are now strictly required to issue a formal transport document before commencing any transport operations. This measure has been implemented to regulate and monitor the movement of goods, raise compliance levels across the industry, and safeguard the rights of all stakeholders involved.

To access this service and issue the necessary documentation, operators are advised to visit the official electronic portal at mtcit.nafith.om. The Ministry emphasises that adherence to these requirements is an essential component of the sector’s regulatory framework.
