Muscat – Oman Botanic Garden, operating under the jurisdiction of Muscat Municipality, has successfully secured an Urban Compliance Certificate for its Dhofar Mountains Biome. This prestigious recognition was awarded by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning to celebrate facilities that adhere to the rigorous standards of the Oman Building Code Manual.

This latest achievement further strengthens the Garden’s distinguished record, which already includes four LEED Platinum certifications within the Building Design and Construction category. Notably, the Dhofar Mountains Biome achieved a flagship score of 86 points, marking it as the highest-scoring facility within the Garden. It now joins three other on-site buildings that have reached the same elite international rating for sustainable and compliant construction.
