Muscat – H E Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister has engaged in significant diplomatic discussions through separate telephone calls with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, Foreign Minister of Kuwait and Yvette Cooper, British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs. These high-level communications focused on the latest developments in the region and the urgent need to find ways to defuse current tensions. During the call with the British Foreign Secretary, both parties examined practical steps to push for political and diplomatic solutions aimed at resuming safe maritime navigation throughout the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.

Furthermore, H E Sayyid Badr held a discussion with his Kuwaiti counterpart to review ongoing efforts to calm the regional situation.
