Kuwait – Oman has issued a formal statement strongly condemning and denouncing the recent targeting of two northern land border centres in the sisterly State of Kuwait. These sites were reportedly struck by unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly known as drones, in an act that has raised significant security concerns within the region. The Foreign Ministry expressed its deep disapproval of the incident, describing such hostile actions as a direct threat to regional peace and the safety of neighbouring territories.

In its official communication, the Sultanate reiterated its unwavering solidarity with the State of Kuwait during this period. Oman has affirmed its full support for all measures and precautions that Kuwaiti authorities may take to safeguard their national security and maintain internal stability. The statement emphasised that the security of Kuwait is inextricably linked to the collective security of the Gulf region, and any breach of its borders is regarded with the utmost seriousness by the Omani government.

Furthermore, the Sultanate expressed its categorical rejection of all acts that threaten the sovereignty and territorial integrity of sovereign states. By taking this firm diplomatic stance, Oman reinforces its commitment to international law and the principles of non-interference and mutual respect between nations. The Ministry concluded by calling for a unified approach to counter such threats, ensuring that the stability of the region is preserved against any external or irregular military provocations.
