The Ministry of Health has announced that construction of the Ibra Health Centre and Al Mudhaibi Health Centre in North Sharqiyah Governorate has reached approximately 95%, marking a significant step towards enhancing healthcare services in the wilayats.
According to the Directorate General of Projects and Engineering Services, the Ibra Health Centre is being developed on a land area of 39,692sqm, with a built-up area of 1,383sqm, at a total cost of RO1.16mn. The Al Mudhaibi Health Centre spans 24,827sqm, with a built-up area of 1,458.9sqm, and a total investment of RO1.12mn.
Both centres are designed as integrated healthcare facilities, offering a comprehensive range of medical and support services. These include 14 outpatient clinics, a dental clinic, physiotherapy unit, radiology room, two primary examination rooms, a two-bed treatment unit, and a two-bed observation unit. Additional facilities comprise a pharmacy, laboratory, sterilisation unit, meeting room, administrative offices, storage areas, and dedicated service rooms for electrical, network, and maintenance functions. Spacious and fully equipped waiting areas have also been incorporated to enhance patient experience.
The Directorate confirmed that work on both projects is progressing steadily in line with the approved schedule, with strict adherence to technical specifications and healthcare standards.
The Ministry of Health reiterated its commitment to closely monitoring project implementation to ensure timely completion and operational readiness, enabling the centres to deliver high-quality, accessible healthcare services to residents upon inauguration.
