Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued Royal Decree No 49/2026 on Wednesday appointing a secretary-general for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.

Article 1 appoints Yaarub bin Abdullah bin Saleh Al Yaarubi as Secretary-General for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs with special grade.

Article 2 states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
