Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has been awarded the ‘Arab Tourism Medal of the Excellent Class’ by the Arab Tourism Organization in recognition of His Majesty’s efforts in promoting joint Arab cooperation and strengthening regional integration, particularly in the tourism sector.

The honour was received on His Majesty’s behalf by Najib bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Saudi Arabia, during a meeting with Bandar bin Fahd Al Fahad, President of Arab Tourism Organization at the organization’s headquarters in Jeddah.

The award highlights Oman’s growing role in advancing Arab tourism cooperation and supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing the sector’s contribution to sustainable development across the region.
