Muscat – Ministry of Labour (MoL) has initiated a comprehensive public consultation process to gather insights for the preparation of new regulatory bylaws governing the recruitment of non-Omani workers. This initiative is designed to engage directly with key stakeholders, including business owners and recruitment agency operators, to identify current operational challenges and propose practical solutions. By opening a dialogue with the community, the Ministry aims to develop a robust regulatory framework that enhances the overall efficiency and transparency of the recruitment sector.

Officials have emphasised that the participation of both employers and service providers is essential for creating a balanced and effective legal environment.
