Muscat – H H Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, received Gen Fabien Mandon, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the French Republic, and his accompanying delegation at his office in Al Murtafaa Camp on Sunday.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the friendly relations between Oman and France. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments and exchanged views on ways to enhance shared interests.

A number of issues of mutual concern were also addressed during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Vice-Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces.
