Muscat – Oman has issued a formal statement expressing its strongest condemnation of the Israeli military attacks on Lebanese territory. The Foreign Ministry described these actions as war crimes that represent a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of Lebanon. Furthermore, the ministry stated that the attacks breach the fundamental principles of international law and the United Nations Charter.

Expressing profound concern regarding the high number of casualties resulting from these strikes, the Oman government characterised the military actions as brutal. The ministry has called upon the international community to take immediate steps to deter further aggression and to ensure that Israel is held fully accountable for these events.
