Muscat – Royal Oman Police (ROP) has detained a group of women of various Asian and African nationalities for acts that violate public morals. The individuals were observed wearing immodest clothing in a public space, which constitutes a breach of local decorum and cultural standards.

Furthermore, the authorities confirmed that the women were in violation of both the Labour Law and the Foreigners’ Residency Law. ROP have initiated the necessary legal procedures against the group to address these infractions and ensure compliance with the nation’s regulatory frameworks and social expectations.
