Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from Tarique Rahman, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, on concerning the bilateral relations between the two countries.
The message was received by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister, during a meeting with Humayun Kabir, Adviser to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on Foreign Affairs, on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the longstanding relations of friendship and cooperation between Oman and Bangladesh, reaffirming their shared commitment to further strengthen cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves the mutual interests and aspirations of the two friendly peoples.
They also exchanged views on regional developments, underscoring the importance of supporting efforts aimed at achieving peace and sustaining security and stability.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Housni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department at the Foreign Ministry, and Khondkar Misbah Ul Azim, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Oman, along with a number of officials from both sides.
