Musandam – Royal Oman Police (ROP) Coast Guard Command in Musandam Governorate has successfully apprehended three individuals of Asian nationality following an attempted illegal entry into the Sultanate.

The suspects were intercepted aboard a fishing vessel while attempting to infiltrate the country’s maritime borders. Upon inspection, authorities discovered that the group was also attempting to smuggle significant quantities of alcoholic beverages into the Wilayat of Khasab. The Royal Oman Police confirmed that the individuals have been taken into custody and that the necessary legal procedures are currently being finalised to address the charges of illegal entry and contraband smuggling.
