Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued three Royal Decrees on Sunday reading as follows:

Royal Decree No 83/2025 appoints a chairman for the Projects, Tenders and Local Content Authority.

Article 1 states that Badr bin Salim al Ma’amari will be appointed as chairman of the Projects, Tenders and Local Content Authority.

Article 2 states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.

Royal Decree No 84/2025 ratifies the ‘Makkah al Mukarramah Convention for Member States of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation on Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Cooperation’, signed in Maldives on May 7, 2025.

Article 1 ratifies the aforementioned convention in accordance with the version attached to this decree.

Article 2 states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.

Royal Decree No 85/2025 ratifies an agreement signed in Muscat on May 27, 2025 between Oman and Iran on mutual administrative assistance in customs matters.

Article 1 ratifies the abovementioned agreement in accordance with the version attached to this decree.

Article 2 states that this decree will be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
