Muscat – His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed al Humaidi, Chairman of Muscat Municipality, conducted a field visit on Monday morning to assess progress on several major development and service projects in the wilayat of Muttrah.

The visit underlined the municipality’s commitment to ensuring quality implementation through continuous on-site monitoring. During the tour, H E reviewed the Al-Wadi Al-Kabir Roundabout Project, where he was updated on the latest construction progress, as well as the Al-Wadi Al-Kabir Vendors’ Lane Project to verify its operational readiness.

The chairman also evaluated services at the Muttrah Fish, Vegetable, and Fruit Market, a key investment designed to improve the visitor experience. Additionally, he visited the Muttrah Cable Car (Teleferic) Project, a flagship tourism initiative developed by Sabeen Investment, aimed at enhancing the tourism experience and boosting the local economy.

These visits form part of Muscat Municipality’s wider strategy to improve public services, enhance infrastructure, and raise the overall quality of life in the governorate.
