Muscat – The Civil Aviation Authority’s Meteorology Department has issued a weather forecast for Thursday- June 26, 2025, highlighting potential weather hazards across several governorates.

Coastal areas of Dhofar are expected to experience partly cloudy conditions with a chance of drizzle, while the rest of the country may see clear skies with high cloud advection. Late-night and early-morning fog and low cloud formation are likely along the Arabian Sea coast.

Dust is also forecast to rise over desert and open areas in Dhahirah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar governorates, which could lead to reduced horizontal visibility. The authority urges motorists and residents to take precautions, particularly during travel through foggy or dusty areas.
