Muscat – His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates, arrived in the Sultanate of Oman today for an official visit, heading a high-level delegation.

The visit underscores the deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Oman and aims to strengthen cooperation across a range of sectors. His Highness also met with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and held talks with senior Omani officials to explore avenues of strategic partnership and mutual development.

Accompanying Sheikh Hamdan were prominent members of the UAE leadership, including H H Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; H H Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Airline and Group; and H H Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.

The delegation also included Mohammad bin Abdullah al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Sheikh Salem bin Khalid al Qassimi, Minister of Culture; Dr. Thani bin Ahmed al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; Omar bin Sultan al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications; and Maryam bint Ahmed al Hammadi, Minister of State.

Other senior officials accompanying the Crown Prince included Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers; Abdulla al Basti, Secretary General of The Executive Council of Dubai; Lieutenant General Talal Belhoul al Falasi, President of Dubai’s State Security Department; Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism; and Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman and CEO of DP World and Chairman of the Dubai International Chamber of Commerce.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates, concluded his visit and has departed for UAE.

The visit reflects the shared vision of the UAE and Oman to foster deeper collaboration and reinforce their longstanding fraternal relationship.
