Muscat – The Ministry of Health (MoH) officially launched the logo of the 3rd The Royal Hospital International Congress 2026 on Monday, marking the beginning of preparations for one of the region’s largest healthcare events.
The ceremony was held under the patronage by H E Dr Saeed bin Harib Al Lamki, Undersecretary for Health Affairs and President of the congress, in the presence of senior healthcare officials, medical professionals and media representatives.
The congress is scheduled to take place in Muscat from December 14 to 17, and is expected to attract leading healthcare experts, specialists and researchers from Oman and abroad.
Organisers said this year’s edition will include 28 specialised conferences and 40 practical workshops, making it one of the biggest medical gatherings in the region focused on capacity building and knowledge exchange.
Speaking at the event, H E Dr Al Lamki highlighted the importance of the congress in consolidating Oman’s position as a regional centre for healthcare innovation and international medical cooperation. He said the event contributes to improving healthcare quality and promoting the exchange of expertise and advanced medical practices.
The ceremony also featured a presentation outlining the congress’s strategic vision and future goals, followed by unveiling of the new logo designed to reflect a blend of Omani heritage, sustainability and modern medical technologies.
Dr Aamed bin Khamis Al Araimi, Director General of The Royal Hospital and Chairman of the Organising Committee of the congress, said the logo symbolises growth, innovation and digital transformation, with artificial intelligence representing a key driver in shaping future healthcare systems.
A promotional film highlighting the congress’s mission and objectives was also screened during the event.
