The Coast Guard Police under the Musandam Governorate Police Command have successfully intercepted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of alcoholic beverages into Oman. The operation led to the seizure of two boats and the arrest of six Asian nationals suspected of trafficking the contraband. Authorities confirmed that the individuals were apprehended with the intent to distribute the illegal goods, and legal procedures against them are currently being finalised.
