Muscat – Citizens of Oman will be able to travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina without a visa this summer following a new decision by the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The visa exemption, which also applies to citizens of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, will be in effect from June 1 to September 30, 2025.
The decision was based on a proposal from Bosnia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was formally adopted to encourage travel and tourism from the Gulf region.
Elmedin Dino Konakovic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, confirmed the exemption and welcomed travellers from the region. “We look forward to welcoming our friends from the Gulf region,” he said.
The move is expected to boost tourist arrivals from the GCC, especially during the peak summer holiday season.
