Muscat – The Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation, in coordination with the Special Taskforce Unit in Seeb, has apprehended 19 individuals of Asian nationalities for various offences.

Among them, six were arrested for violating labour and foreign residency laws, while thirteen were detained for human trafficking. The latter group was found to have lured women of different nationalities and forced them into acts contrary to public morals.

Authorities have confirmed that legal procedures are underway against all those involved.
