Muscat, Oman – ISWK U11 emerged champions in the U11 Schools Oman Cricket Season. 2024-25.
ISWK U11 won all six of their matches to emerge on top while ISM U11 A finished as runners-up, winning five matches.
The league served as a platform for budding players to hone their skills for the first time in their early days of playing cricket and embrace the spirit of competitive cricket.
In the Academies league, MCCC Yellow emerged champions after finishing unbeaten in four matches. BSC AEC won three matches and claimed the runners-up trophy.
At the prize distribution ceremony, Alkesh Joshi, Treasurer – Oman Cricket, Kiran Asher, Board Member – Oman Cricket and Duleep Mendis, Chief Development Officer, Oman Cricket handed the accolades.
For the Schools league, Aayansh Mistry claimed the Best Batter and Best All Rounder award while Aarav Rahul bagged the Best Bowler. For Academies league, Ashbel Wilson Burboz claimed the Best Batter while Shubh Seth bagged the Best Bowler.
Joshi said: “Oman Cricket is delighted to witness the enthusiasm and commitment displayed by these young players along with exemplary encouragement shown by the Schools, Academies and the Parents. The U11 School & Academies OC Season 2024-25 has been a stepping-stone for future cricketing stars, and we look forward to more participation in such tournaments that shape the next generation of cricketers”.
