Muscat – Nesto Hypermarket has officially opened its 17th outlet in Oman and its 135th globally, with a grand opening ceremony held today at its new store in Al Ansab, Muscat. The store was inaugurated by H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Nasser al Nadabi, Secretary General of Majlis a’shura, at 10:30 AM, with the doors officially opening to the public at 12:00 PM.

The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Nesto Group Directors Mr Haris Palollathil, Mr Mujeeb VTK, Mr Muneer Palollathil and Mr Hamed Khalfan Abdullah al Wahaibi, Managing Director Mr K P Jamal, and the HR Director, alongside Mr Mohammed Harib Amur al Maskari, Operations Manager were present.
Mr Al Sayyid Khalid Mahfoodh Salim al Bsaidi, Nesto Group Regional Sponsor, was also present, highlighting the significance of the new store opening.

The newly opened store, sprawling across three floors, aims to redefine the shopping experience in the region. Customers can now enjoy an extensive range of products, from fresh groceries to electronics, home goods, and lifestyle collections, all under one roof. The store is designed to provide convenience and comfort to its visitors, with ample parking facilities available for a hassle-free shopping trip.

This store marks a major milestone in Nesto’s expansion in Oman, as it is the first-ever three-floor outlet in the country. Additionally, Nesto plans to open 10 more stores within the next two years.
